control over the processing of personal data in commercial transactions in Malaysia.<\/p><p>Individuals, companies, or organizations that process and control the processing of personal data in commercial transactions are known as <strong>Data Controllers<\/strong>.<\/p><p>As a Data Controller, you are required to comply with all regulations set forth in this Act, particularly related to the Standard<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pdp.gov.my\/ppdpv1\/en\/registration-of-data-controller\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Registration as a Data Controller<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pdp.gov.my\/ppdpv1\/en\/guidelines-and-circular-on-personal-data-protection-appointment-of-data-protection-officer-dpo-and-data-breach-notification\/\" target=\"_blank\"
