PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION SYSTEM INSPECTION VISIT UNDER SECTION 101, PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION ACT 2010 [ACT 709] TO MINDTECH EDUCATION SDN. BHD., KOTA DAMANSARA, SELANGOR<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Enforcement Team of the Office of the Personal Data Protection Commissioner (PDP) has conducted a Personal Data Protection System Inspection Visit under Section 101, Personal Data Protection Act 2010 [Act 709] on Mindtech Education Sdn. Bhd., Kota Damansara, Selangor on 2 September 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This inspection visit session started with the introduction of the PDP Commissioner’s Office Enforcement Team members involved, the Personal Data System Inspection briefing to Mindtech Education Sdn. Bhd. Next, Mrs. Jamie Chan Yee Fuan gave an explanation to the Enforcement team of the PDP Commissioner’s Office regarding the organization chart, operations, collection procedures, processing and storage of customers’ physical and digital personal data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, a Personal Data System Inspection based on the 7 Principles of Personal Data Protection and Personal Data Protection Standards was performed on the entire personal data system of Mindtech Education Sdn. Bhd. During this visit, the Enforcement Team of the PDP Commissioner’s Office also gave suggestions for improvement to Mindtech Education Sdn. Bhd. to further increase compliance with Act 709.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mindtech Education Sdn. Bhd. is a direct sales company that belongs under 13 Data User Groups that must be registered under Act 709 and must comply with this Act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
