The Office of the Personal Data Protection Commissioner in collaboration with Futurise Sdn. Bhd. has organized a Personal Data Protection Standard Development Workshop as well as Cross-Border Data Transfer Mechanism and Implementation Guidelines on 26 August 2024 at the Ministry of Communications Complex, Putrajaya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This workshop was held to obtain feedback from stakeholders in improving the Personal Data Protection Standard that was developed in 2015 including developing new guidelines. The new guidelines developed are to ensure that the management of cross-border transfer of personal data is implemented effectively and has an adequate level of protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop was attended by representatives from Ministries and Departments including regulatory bodies and industry players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
